You Can Create with the Kraft Pillow Boxes today with the You Can Create it Team. We are sharing our inspiration for what you can make using these great little boxes.

This month’s Papercraft Kit pack from the You Can Create It Team offers a spotty Kraft Pillow Box, a Tassel and some Baker’s Twine … but what can be created using this?

Although these boxes are a great size for little trinkets, I wanted to extend the length to allow for a longer gift.

A Pillow Box is a relatively simple box to recreate. You can open up an existing one to use as a template or you can create your own from scratch. Here I used the measurements of the width of the box to draw up a strip of patterned paper before adding the trademark end. Two scorelines to form the sides and an extra strip for a flap that would hold it together. I used the end of the Kraft Pillow Box to help me create the curved scoreline that would create the closure before fussy cutting the end.

Easy enough to slot into the Kraft Box, I covered the join with a strip of whisper white cardstock before adding my embellishments.

With such fine Polka Dots I wanted a bold image for my tag, so turned to this flower from the Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set. Stamped in Blushing Bride to coordinate with the pink paper, I opted for an Early Espresso stamped sentiment.  The sentiment came from the So Sentimental Bundle that offers some fabulous sentiments.
