Today I’m sharing a card that our son Bertie created recently for his Daddy. A Piece of Cake seemed only right and fitting a stamp set to use to accompany a homemade Birthday Cake.
A few more than three candles needed but with a scattering on the back panel, I think we have it covered. Bertie does love the ease of using a Punch and also winding a piece of cardstock through the Bigshot to emboss. Instant results with some mechanical movement in the process. It’s quite simply a piece of cake.
We’d have been celebrating in a very different way had we not been in lockdown. Instead, we will bake a Birthday cake and share some quality time together and a movie.
Bertie chose this colour combination of So Saffron, Pretty Peacock and Gray Granite. He enjoyed randomly stamping the candles over the back panel.
He had this card made in no time once he chose his colours. Looking for inspiration around my craft room, he liked the look of the mosaic embossing folder and pulled together the various elements to share with his daddy.
I hope you like his creation.
