The current economic pandemic of Coronavirus had us thinking we’d create cards with positivity and uplifting thoughts in mind.
If you’ve hopped on over from Diana’s blog then you’ll have arrived feeling all warm and fuzzy from the positivity and uplifting thoughts she’ll have shared.
This pandemic has seen a temporary stop to my in-person classes in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. I’ve been running these classes for 8 years now and have a loyal following whom I miss terribly. Wanting to reach out and connect with them, I created this batch of cards using the Stamparatus. It was inspired by a swap card I received a while back from fellow Demonstrator, Emma Goddard. Emma’s card had a double layer of flowers with a sentiment in the middle.
The Stamparatus, which is our stamp positioning tool is fabulous for batch card making. I loved how you could so easily line up the flowers right each time. The flowers came from the set, Forever Lovely and were stamped in Grapefruit Grove. The leaves and sentiment were stamped in Smoky Slate with the sentiment coming from Accented Blooms.
Wanting to say more than just hello, I added ‘I miss you a lot’ from my favourite set, Seriously the best.
A simple little card but one that said it all. I do miss the company of my ladies. My classes are more than just learning how to use our fabulous products and making pretty things, it’s also about friendships. I wish all my ladies well and look forward to seeing them in the not too distant future when we can again craft together some more.
I hope you’ve found my share both positive and uplifting and if you’re like me, you’ll be curious to see what Nina has to share next.
Enjoy the rest of the hop and thanks for stopping by … Stay safe.
