It’s what’s on the inside that matters and this weekend, the Creation Station Design Team are sharing just that. Come and see the inside scoop of inspiration we have on offer.
If you’ve just hopped on over from the lovely Sara Langland, then you’ll have already been spoilt to some fabulous inspiration. Well, I’m going to share a Shadow Box Card with you.
The front of this card is really quite plain with an aptly chosen sentiment from the stamp set, Band Together. Inside however offers all the punch of colour that you could desire.
Adding texture like the pretty little lace edge trim you see here, adds extra detail without overpowering the front. This die is from the new Ornate Dies recently launched.
Open the card and that’s where all the beauty is.
I used our Stampin’ Blends to colour in these fabulous flowers. Highland Heather isn’t usually a colour I’d choose but I really loved its punch against the crisp white. By adding depth to the card with a sponged insert and a die-cut aperture allowed the flowers to really sit in the foreground.
A scattering of sequins can be seen on the background set way back. I love how these cards pop up in dimension once opened but remain flat for posting.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my share with you today and that you’ll consider putting more detail to the inside of your card and not just the outside.
Enjoy the rest of the hop and the rest of your weekend. Next up is my dear friend Andrea Tracy-Tucker. I love her work, so you’re in for a treat.
Thanks for hopping by today. Stay safe and happy crafting.
