Welcome to the very first Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hops, a hop with global inspiration. We are kicking off with All Things Crafty, as we share what inspires us and what we need.
The Design Team is made up of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the Globe with a fabulous mix of styles and inspiration. I’m delighted to be amongst some great talented ladies, least of all my good friend Aurélie from France.
This first hop is for us to show what inspires us, what we require to create or what we always use. For me, I believe It Starts with Art. This stamp set offers images of many products that we use daily in our creativity.
It was this sentiment that resonated with me most ‘You Paint my World with Happiness’. I’ve always loved seeing others grow in crafty confidence. Learning how to best use the products and find their own style is what fills my heart with happiness. Seeing the stress in others simply melt through the power of crafting and connecting with others who do too.
The right balance of white space and a focal point can bring about the perfect amount of detail. Add texture as I did with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder and you’ve enough interest. A stitched scalloped sentiment panel sings to me by its femininity.
The felt embellishments and the little ‘Made with love’ heart-shaped trinket come from the Follow your Art Embellishment Kit. An embellishment kit brings the perfect finishing touches to your crafty projects.
