Creation Station go Interactive

This weekend, the Creation Station Design Team are going Interactive. Our offering to you is with everything that moves and has you interactive with the project.

I can’t wait to see what Martin Stone, one of this year’s Artisan’s has created for us today. You may have hopped from Martin, but if not, hop around and see what all have on offer. I love Martin’s style, I always have done.

For me today, I had a favourite of mine in a simple slider card and a stamp set that I’d not inked up until today. Ride with me was quite popular over the festive period for the Christmas Tree that sat in the truck. A popular look and one that can be made in 3D with the Dies. I wanted to ink this up for another purpose other than Christmas and here’s my offering.

 

A simple slider card with a very simple mechanism that can be recreated quite easily. I actually didn’t use the Dies from this bundle to cut the truck, but simply used our Paper Snips. The Hammered Embossing Folder looked like street cobbles and seemed most fitting with this card.

The Grass came from the Wiggly Bugs Die set, another set I’ve not played with enough. A little hard to see, but I head embossed clear the windowpane just to give a gentle sheen to look more like glass. The clouds also come from the Wiggly Bugs Die set.

Now to open the card and here is where the interactive part comes in. Pulling on a strip of the Classic Label punch reveals the inside and some more grass and cobbles, but also some balloons and an extension to the sentiment. Very simple, but super cute.
