Welcome to this month’s All Star Tutorial Bundle Blog Hop, where we’re sharing inspiration using the Parisian Blossom Suite. The Tutorial Bundle March is using this beautiful suite.
Our Tutorial Bundle is proving to be popular and from the tutorials, I’ve seen already, I can see why. Twelve different designers, each offering a tutorial using the same products and you have a Tutorial Bundle full of variety.
This month we are using the beautiful Parisian Blossom suite with its soft pretty colours. If you’re concerned that you’d not use the Eiffel Tower more than once, then I’ve decided to show you pretty alternatives.
There are some bold prints in the Designer Series Paper pack but there are also some beautiful soft patterns. I decided to showcase these softer patterns in this card I’m sharing.
Layered in a block on a white matting layer that’s been embossed with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder I cut narrow strips and staggered their patterns behind a bold sentiment.
I love the mix of script font and bold heat embossed. Using Gold Foil for a background swirl helped to anchor the position of the sentiment. Repeatedly die cutting the sentiment ‘Amour’ from both Basic Grey and Petal Pink and stacking them, created an effective yet subtle two-tone 3D look.
A pretty little card that’s great for using up scraps and would look fabulous in other colours and with different papers.
