With Valentines Day just around the corner, I thought I’d turn my thoughts to that. I literally fell in love with the Detailed Hearts Die in the new Mini Catalogue when I saw it. Oh the detail and the possibilities. The Heartfelt Bundle offers a beautiful contemporary stamp set with two coordinating punches. One scalloped and one plain. These punches alone are incredibly useful.
I cut a matting layer of Shimmery White Cardstock and gave a watercolour wash of Rococo Rose with a hint of Rich Razzleberry. Whilst this was drying, I die cut the Detailed Hearts from standard weight Whisper White cardstock along with a simple stitched square frame.
Layering these pieces up gave my eye a focal point on an otherwise busy layer. Using Black Memento I stamped the Arrow and Rococo Rose was again used to stamp the sentiment heart.
You can see the finer detail of Rhinestones and Metallic thread used when building up my images. A simple little card I thought, but a pretty and effective one that I hope you’ll love as much as I do.
