The delivery of New Beginnings
I’ve been super excited to share this creation with you, as it’s something I’ve made for the very man who delivers these products to me. The UPS Delivery Driver who frequently visits my home with boxes of creative goodies is about to become a Dad. In fact, I’ve not seen him this week, so I suspect it’s already happened. I was super excited to hear of his great news and immediately set to work. Having burnt my hands pre Christmas, he sadly went without his usual Handmade Christmas card and was quite sad at that. Hopefully, this card and gift box will make up for it.
I do love a cute Easter Stamp Set and this one is of no exception. Just how cute is this bunny?! Not knowing what sex of baby he and his partner were expecting, I wanted this to look gender neutral. A cute grey bunny with a lemon coloured ribbon seemed perfectly fitting.
I adore the little bumblebee in the set, it adds even more character to this already characterful chap.
The bunny was mounted onto a die-cut piece using the Stitched Labels Dies. I felt it gave an element of a baby frill without being screamingly girl like. The white ribbon was coloured using the Dark So Saffron Blends Pen. It’s great how you can coordinate the ribbon to your project by using these pens.
A simple little box houses a cute little babygrow and Gift Voucher as a Thank you for his help throughout the year and a welcome for their newborn baby. I embellished the top of the box in the same way as the card, adding a bow to hold the box together. The Ribbon threads up through the outer side of the box, making it quite an unusual fastening.
I do love the announcement of a baby. They are all little miracles in life and this is one perfect little delivery made by Mr UPS himself.
Next up for New Beginnings …
I hope you have enjoyed my share today and I’ll hope you’ll take another look at this set. It’s not just for Easter.
Next up is Tracy who I’m sure will delight us with yet more new beginnings, so enjoy!
