The Stampin’ Creative are today celebrating friendships with our Hearts of Friendship theme.
Oh, boy, did I love creating this card for you. I really enjoyed coming up with something other than Valentines with the Heartfelft Stamp Set and Punches. I always like to create something quite different that’s perhaps colours you wouldn’t have necessarily first thought of.
One of the first things I loved about Stampin’ Up! was the coordination of Stamp Sets with Punches. I love that you can stamp and punch the shape out so quickly and easily. Changing the colours I used and Heat Embossing the sentiment took the longest on this card, otherwise, it was so quick and simple.
Just look at these pretty rainbow colours! This just makes me smile.
You need to repeatedly stamp the image, cleaning in between, before you punch it out. Overlapping each heart, I adhered them together. I really liked the lattice effect of this image and was pleased that the sentiment would sit right across the middle, smaller heart. This created a great backdrop for it.
I heat embossed the sentiment white on black and fussy cut around it to create some interest and additional shape.
By punching out a notch using the edge of the Tailored Tag Punch, there was a nice little area to stop the twine from shifting. Again, adding interest.
I hope you like my colourful share with you today in this Hearts of Friendship hop. I think we’re in for a treat with inspiration for this one, so enjoy!
