A Parisian Beauty for One Stamp at a Time OSAT Hop

I start the New Year back at my craft desk with the One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop, a new team for me. Today the theme is Poppies, Purses and Paris, a place I’ve surprisingly never been to.

I’ve flown into Paris Charles de Gaulle, but never actually visited the Eiffel Tower or the Champs-Elysées. I can only transport myself there through the power of imagination and images. Well, today I bring the elegance of Beautiful You together with the Parisian Beauty Bundle.

I wanted the Eiffel Tower to literally stand up and stand proud, so I decided to do some partial die-cutting using the Parisian Dies.

A cute little card mixing Beautiful You with this new Parisian Beauty. I first heat embossed the Eiffel Tower with Silver Embossing Powder, before partially die cutting. By doing this, it literally stands proud of the card when you fold on the scoreline.

I took another scrap of paper to stamp the lady and fussy cut her after colouring with our Blends.

It was tempting to colour in the sky more so, but the beautiful colour wash from the Beautiful You set was perfect.

And there she is …. the Eiffel Tower in all it’s glory and even on a wet day there’s a love affair to see her.
