It’s been a couple of weeks since I made these cards using the gorgeous set, Snow Front. I loved creating these as part of a Facebook Live.
Inspiration for the layout of these two cards, came from the Winter Catalogue and switched up the Stamp Set and colours a little. I was SO pleased with the outcome. This first card came from a layout for the Merry Moose, which I never did buy. I did, however, love the layout of this card that I believe works so well with Snow Front.
The Babywipe technique or the thumping technique for variegated trees and leaves are just perfect and fun to do.
I used the Sponge Brayer Rollers to create the ombre effect for the sky, before splattering water over the top. This creates a kind of snowy look.
The contrast of this next card, from the dark background to the crisp white snow was so very appealing. I do love this Plaid Paper.
Again, another CASED layout from the Catalogue, which is a great resource for inspiration. I used both Gold Foil and Glimmer Paper to tie in. with the gold foiling throughout the Plaid paper. The stamping was on Shimmery White Cardstock, for that subtle shimmery background.
The Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set is just perfect for a variety of festive Sentiments. I pulled both sentiments used on these cards from this set. This was I felt was most fitting for the calm and peaceful view.
Two quite different cards, but also similar in many ways too.
I hope you have enjoyed my share with you today.
