The You Can Create it Team are once again sharing inspiration using the Gather Together Kit. We share ideas for the October packet within this Quarter’s ‘You Can Create it Kit’, that we hope you’ll like. The fabulously talented Team spreads globally and the styles and ideas offer a real variety.
The Team design from a pre-selected Quarterly Kit chosen by the Team and comprises of a mini kit for each month within that quarter, plus some additional items. Then each month you check back here for inspiration for each kit packet. You’ll get ideas not only from the Team but from others who have purchased and played with the kit themselves. You can also submit ideas to me, made from your kit, to have posted to my blog post. It’s the perfect, ‘try before you buy’ way to have a taster of each collection of the products.
What does it cost?
- For just £15.00 you will receive a Quarterly kit consisting of 3 different kits plus some additional items that’s inclusive of P&P to UK addresses.
- Inspiration can be obtained each month from me and the You Can Create it, Team. You can also submit photographs of your creations using that month’s kit, to have posted to my blog, to share even more inspiration.
October’s Kit offered papers from the Gather Together Suite. I decided to team these papers up with Free as a Bird and Gather Together Stamp Sets. Two quite different sets, but two that worked so well with these papers.
From the Designer Series Paper included in this month’s kit, you could make two of each card, cutting the DSP in half and edging your card base. I added a simple stitched circle to draw your eye to the focal point. This bird, stamped from Free as a Bird, was coloured in using our Blends Alcohol Pens. I chose Mint Macaron and Pretty Peacock.
So hard to see here, but I’ve added a few small dots of Shimmery Crystal Effects to add fine detail and texture. I’ve used the same to add an element of sheen to the pumpkins on this next card.
I do so love the colours of this card and its simplicity. A really cute Thank you card, I thought.
Two quite simple cards that wouldn’t take up too much time to make. Now let’s take a look at what the other girls in the Design Team have to share.
Message me If you’d like to purchase a kit and/or submit a photo to be published. You can also simply click on the BUY Button further up this post. Let’s see what you can create with it and share in the fun!
Gather Together Inspiration
I hope you have enjoyed the inspiration that we have all shared with you today and that you’ll head back here at the beginning of November to see what we create using October’s kit.
