Today is all about Girl Power at the Creation Station and I for one am raising a glass or two to that.
If you’ve hopped on over from the lovely Jennifer Downey, then you’ll already be in the spirit of Girl Power. I’m about to give you yet more, as I say Sip Sip Hooray.
Girls often enjoy a cocktail to celebrate, so I turned to the fabulous new stamp set from the Autumn/Winter Seasonal Catalogue, Sip Sip Hooray. Teamed up with a bold pink in Melon Mambo and the fabulous paper from Monster Bash, I created these cards.
I stamped the glasses both on watercolour paper and vellum, before heat embossing the vellum clear. This helps to create the illusion of a real glass. I love the Monster Bash Designer Series Paper, it reminded me of the wallpaper you might find in a swanky cocktail bar.
For this second card, I thought I’d make the drink more like a frozen cocktail by using Ice Stampin’ Glitter.
We girls underestimate ourselves quite often, when in fact, we juggle a lot and achieve even more. I’ll drink to that! … as we should be celebrated.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this little share with you and that you’ll celebrate your worth today. Hop on over to one very sassy girl, as the lovely Dena Rekow shares her inspiration with us.
Enjoy and thanks for hopping by today.
