Welcome to the Artisan Design Team monthly Blog Hop, where this month we are sharing inspiration using Toile Tidings. This fabulous suite of products includes Gift Wrap, something we don’t often see.
Whether you’ve joined the hop here or hopped on over from the wonderful Manuela, you’re in for a treat this hop. There is some amazing inspiration throughout the hop that you’re sure to enjoy, so sit back and allow me to share my creations with you.
I started by making this simple card using the Wreath die from the All-Around Wreath Dies set. Die-cut twice in Garden Green, staggered and adhered with Dimensionals, this gave great depth. By adding some Early Espresso twigs, it gave the appearance of looking rustic, which I loved.
I’m a sucker for a Ribbon Banner like this … especially when heat embossed Gold. I loved the simplicity of this card, but that the detail in the wreath did all the singing.
I loved the effect of threading the ribbon through the wreath to decorate a gift. Such a simple yet effective way of adding interest and elegance to an otherwise plain gift as shown with the stripy paper.
Wreaths are often finished off with a beautiful bow, so I loved the way the bow not only. decorated the parcel, but finished off the wreath. Creating a simple box with a belly band is a great way of showing a flash of the paper, without having to use too much of it.
The top and larger present was embellished with various flourishes, stamped and die cut. The Toile Tidings Glitter Enamel Dots added fabulous berry interest to the flourishes.
There really isn’t much need for too much with these sets. Less, really is more here, as the wreath can do the singing … and I do love a wreath.
Next up is Narelle, with her beautiful makes, so be sure to hop on over and show her your love.
Have a great day and enjoy the rest of the hop.
