Night Before Christmas Memory Keeping Cards

This week saw my fortnightly Dunelm Mill Class in Huntingdon and one that had us playing with The Night Before Christmas Suite.

A bold selection of colours, this suite is sure to pack a punch. With Patterned papers, coordinating beautifully with the Memories & More Card Pack, you’ll be creating some quick and simple cards in no time at all. The Night Before Christmas Memories & More Card Bases and Envelopes are perfect for simple layering. The Card layers fit beautifully and generally need no more to make for a beautiful card.

I came up with a selection of cards for my ladies to copy or use as inspiration. Some of my designs were simply Cased from the catalogue and others not so. It was wonderful to see the variety that the ladies each created and see their growing confidence transpire before their eyes.

Each card was quite simply made, pulling in alternative stamp sets were needed or fussy cutting images from the coordinating Designer Series Papers.

The Holly from the Christmas Gleaming Stamp Set has to be my most favourite Holly berries to date. The perfect size to embellish a large sentiment and great coloured in using our Stampin’ Blends. Just look at that stunning Candy Cane Ribbon. Isn’t it stunning?!

Some of the papers were so hard to cut into, but needs must. A few jingle bells and Ho, Ho, Ho, we had ourselves a fabulous selection of cards.

I really love the strength of these colours and the combination too. The night sky card, top right, was a real favourite, along with the card with the Christmas Stockings. Perhaps it’s the use of my favourite Pretty Peacock colour?

A lovely class that had the ladies all going off-piste to as much as their imagination would allow. A class with a difference, it was a lovely relaxed class.
