Ever look at a product and only see it for what it’s showing? I fell for the Still Scenes Snow Globe but wanted it to be for more than just Christmas. Today I’m going to leave a little sparkle for two little girls turning 9 years old, with a Still Scenes Snow Globe.
What little girls wouldn’t love a Snow Globe with a Unicorn in? I mean it has sparkle it has glitter, it has mystery and magic and everything that dreams are made of.
Last night as part of my weekly Facebook Live, I demonstrated how you could make this card yourself. You can see that video HERE.
The Purple Posy base seemed the most fitting colour for a little girl. I stamped the Snow Globe from the Still Scenes Stamp Set (available in the new Autumn/Winter Seasonal Catalogue) and die cut this from the banner piece.
The Unicorn, from Leave a Little Sparkle, was then stamped onto the piece cut out and coloured in using a variety of Blends Pens. These fabulous little Snow Globe Shaker Domes are also a new addition to the Seasonal Catalogue. The crystals inside the dome are the new Ice Stampin’ Glitter, which offers chunkier pieces of glitter and looks fabulous here with a few Iridescent Sequins.
Wouldn’t it be great if the base could be turned to play music? A subtle look was achieved by stamping the base and heat embossing clear on Silver Foil. A bow, a few embellishments and a pieced sentiment and the card were finished.
