Last night’s Facebook Live had me creating with a whole load of Dies, with the main focus on Frosted Frames. Oh my, this Die set is quite simply to die for and a real must for your craft room.
I’m becoming quite predictable with my colour choice at the moment, as I’ve fallen in love with Pretty Peacock. I used this colour as a base and sponged both Whisper White Ink and Night of Navy Ink onto the card front before splattering with Frosted Shimmer Paint. The Dies used were mainly from the Frosted Frames set above with some additions from the Beautiful Boughs Dies.
Whisper White and Soft Seafoam were perfectly soft choices for the Frosted Frames Dies. I thought these colours went so well with the card base. Loving the frosty feel of this card, I was reluctant to add red berries, so opted for Pinecones. The Beautiful Boughs Dies offers two beautiful Pinecones that when layered give great dimension.
I used some of the new Snowfall Accents Puff Paint on the Pinecones to add yet more frosting. Sadly this item is currently not orderable but will be back in stock soon. As an alternative, you could use Shimmery White Embossing Paste.
A few Frosted Epoxy Droplets finished off the centres of the White Snowflakes, which are just gorgeous.
The sentiment was die cut from Silver Foil Cardstock using the Word Wishes Die set. Not a stamp used here at all, just sponging, paint flicking and die-cutting. Something quite different for a change.
Well, I hope you like this festive share with you today and that you’ll take a better look at the Dies in our Catalogue. Perhaps you’ll consider joining me when I’m Live again next Wednesday at 8 pm. Until then …
