December is here and there certainly are Signs of Santa on the horizon. Just before going away to Orlando, I hosted a series of classes using the Santa’s Workshop suite. Oh what fun was had with such a lovely fun set and a fun fold card. Open up to see the fun inside.
There is no better company for coordination than Stampin’ Up! … You really couldn’t get better. This set of Dies will not only cut out the stamped images from the Signs of Santa Stamp Set, but also various images from within the patterned papers. It was actually the patterned papers that were mainly used for this series of classes.
Will this bundle be on your Christmas wish list? The images are timeless and so very adorable and super versatile.
If I were to wish for everything on your Stampin’ Up! wish list for you, then my wish would be for you to purchase the Starter Kit. The Starter Kit will allow you to purchase your favourites, whilst obtaining a fabulous 20% discount with each purchase. You also are able to connect within a great crafting community and attend official Stampin’ Up! events. Sadly, I’m not sure that Santa makes these sensible savings himself, but he could certainly help a loved one of yours to fill your stocking with my help.
The Patterned papers of Santa’s Workshop have some fabulous flock detailing. You might just be able to see from Santa’s hat, the elf’s and the snowflakes from within the aperture of the internal section of this card this detailing. We had so much fun creating this fun fold card and although the ladies thought it would be difficult, it really wasn’t.
Tip with Signs of Santa
When you’ve die cut the aperture for the inside of your card, you can re-use this piece you cut out, for the front of your card, as I’ve done here.
This card is not only fun in it’s images, but fun in the fancy fold technique, that’s something a little different.
Gift Tag
We had so many images left over from our small pieces of patterned paper, that I had the ladies die cut them all and utilise them to create a simple Gift Tag. A 2″ strip of Poppy Parade cardstock, a returning favourite colour of mine, and a simple stitched circle to highlight the images.
Would this not make just the most fun of tags to a child’s gift this Christmas?
We made more project pieces during this class, but I’ll share those makes with you another day.
I hope this has given you some inspiration for this festive period and I hope you’ll consider that wish list of yours.
