A warm welcome to the Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop where we’re sharing non traditional festive makes this month.
If you get fed up of seeing Red, Gold and Green, then this is the hop for you. Loaded with inspiration, you’re in for a treat.
What is your Non Traditional Festive Colour Palette?
Do you have a colour palette at Christmas that you warm to? Last year hubby and I decided to change the colours on our Christmas Tree. For many years we had used Red and Gold ornaments, but last year we hung frosted snowflakes of generally white or neutral colours. It has made for quite a difference that we loved.
Having used Peaceful Noel stamp set this week during my monthly class, I pulled upon it again for this project. I loved randomly stamping on one of the quick and simple cards during class, so switched up the colours a little.
The aperture is edged with silver foil, that has been duplicated with little Silver Embossed berries. I love the soft, subtle colours of this.
I did wonder if Blueberry Bushel would be a good alternative to Night of Navy.
This photo shows the little embossed berries clearer. You could say that I’m totally addicted to the stitched basic shape framelits? They’re probably my most used dies of all time.
I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s hop and the inspiration that we’ve all offered. Do make sure you hop around the blogs of the others. We’d love to know what you think and what your traditional colours would be.
