Its Sunday and it’s the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop where we are showcasing the Stitched All Around Bundle.
This month we are sharing our creations, using the ever so beautiful Stitched All Around Bundle. This bundle is gorgeous. I adore the Stitched Basic Framelits, so when this set appeared in the new Annual Catalogue, I was delighted.
Seeing a pretty card like this in the catalogue, I wanted to have a go at creating my own version. Pool Party, Tranquil Tide, teamed with a splash of Crumb Cake. I just loved the colour combo and the Pop of Lemon Lime Twist.
This particular die creates a gorgeous scallop edged aperture to the front of the card. Layer up the die cut shapes and you get yourself a really lovely collage effect.
Top Tip
The beauty of creating such an aperture card, you’re able to make two very similar cards, using the unused pieces from the first card. For example, make use of the Pool Party die cut shape that you’ve cut out here to create the aperture, where I’ve used the White die cut piece on another card.
This card opens out like a tri-fold card, giving you a blank panel in the middle to write your message on.
With this pretty little card, I needed a simple little Gift Box and set to creating this. It’s actually the perfect size to take our Note Cards and Envelopes, which would make for a beautiful little Thank you gift. The sentiment here has in itself, been stitched all around backed with the die cut circular shape.
The papers I have used here are from the Share What you Love Suite. This Crumb Cake piece has little black markings on it, so Black Twine seemed only right to team with it.
A cute, simple little set, but I think you can see the versatility of this bundle. Ideal for Vintage pieces if that’s more your style.
Do remember to take a look around the rest of the Hop participants. I’m sure there will be some amazing inspiration.
Enjoy and Happy Sunday to you all.
