Welcome to this month’s Blog Hop, where we at the Stampin’ Creative are bringing you Party Central.
It’s a Birthday weekend for us in the family, as my Father-in-law turns 90. It is not for him that I have created though, but for someone somewhat younger. It really is Party Central here this weekend, as we celebrate several birthdays.
I’ve been wanting to create with Animal Outings for a while now and today was the day. I just love the coordinating papers, Animal Expedition, which from 1st July for one month, will be on a special Promotion. See below for more information.
The Pocket die from Pocket Framelits is the perfect size to create a bunting to take the Large Letters. I didn’t want a massive string of bunting, so decided to die cut the word Birthday to add in a lifting colour. It is suspended between two tabs.
This leaf punch is probably one of my most used punches of late. it’s so easy to pick up and use to add a quick embellishment of leaves to something. I love it. I’ve used Shaded Spruce and Call me Clover for the green leaves.
I love this little giraffe that I’ve die cut. It wouldn’t have been any hardship to have fussy cut, but it’s a real time saviour to simply die cut the Designer Series Paper.
I’ve used a real mix of Stamp Sets and Dies for this project, so it’s not working out to be the cheapest of makes, but you could substitute many of the elements for something else.
Ok, so sour cream containers are an easy make for any crafter, but these have a shaped top, which are just lovely. The set even comes with a heart shape top to it, which is my favourite and perfect for perhaps Wedding Favours or a Baby Shower.
I do so love creating for a party, but I ran out of time to expand on this project, which was a shame.
it is indeed Party Time and time for cake I feel …
Well, I hope you’ve enjoyed my quick share with you today and that you’ll hop on over to see what the other girls have created. I’m sure between us Stampin’ Creatives, we’re in for a great party.
Have a fab weekend and don’t forget the Buy 3, get 1 free promotion on a selection of our Designer Series Paper starting on the 1st July.
