Welcome to the first Home Decor SU Style Blog Hop. Everything we will be sharing with you today will be relating to Home Decor pieces using Stampin’ Up! Products and I’m sharing a Dream Catcher with you.
I seldom make Home Decor pieces, so saw this hop as a great challenge to get my mind thinking a little outside the box. Follow Your Dreams Stamp Set has already been popular, as even my Die’s arrived ahead of the Stamp Set. Itching to use it, I started cutting little feathers out and bingo, inspiration came – A Dream Catcher.
I have always wanted to make a Dream Catcher and I surprised at just how easy it was to create this simple little pattern.
Very subtle, but I added some coloured pearls to the middle of the Dream Catcher, which you can see here in this close up photo.
I wanted soft hues, so opted for Very Vanilla Baker’s Twine and teamed it with Fresh Fig ribbon, and Silver and Petal Pink Baker’s Twine for a touch of sparkle.
What an original idea! Adorable!
It was so much fun creating it Kathy and ever so simple. I’m pleased you like it x
