Welcome to the Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop, where this month it’s all about Stampin’ Up! Pre Order Products. That’s right, it’s not just Demonstrators who can pre order products from the soon to launch New Annual Catalogue. Take a look and see what you can get your hands on early too. I’m showcasing the New In Colors of 2018-2020 with you today in a fun way.
If you’ve hopped on over from the lovely Bobbi Miller, then you’ll have already seen some great inspiration, well I hope I’ll bring you some more.
This year we have been spoilt to even more Stampin’ Up! pre order products. Three Share What you Love Bundles and a bundle of the New In Color Ink Pads. It’s the New In Colors that I’m going to share with you today, as these form a great base for so many projects.
Look at these amazing new colours and their fabulous names. Are you drawn to one?
When Stampin’ Up! see colour changes happening, they take a look at their colour spectrum in order to make relevant changes to remain on trend. This year, Stampin’ Up! have brought about an exciting Colour Revamp. The colour family names have remained, but some of the colours have moved families. I love the changes.
Look at this amazing spectrum of colours. I can’t wait to get playing with some of these and welcome back others. I personally am delighted to see the return of Poppy Parade, Coastal Cabana and Mint Macaron. Do you have a favourite returning or have you found a new one?
Not only do we have a Colour Revamp, but we also have new intuitive packaging that offers an easier to manage flip lid to our cases, that still stores your ink pad upside down, as they should be stored. The ink has been improved with an antifoam formula and these ink pads actually stack. They are fabulous!
Tip for opening
Personally, I have found that turning the ink pad the wrong way around, so that the label is upside down and then opening, is easier. Clicking open by pulling up and towards me, has helped protect my fingers from becoming inky.
Stampin’ Up! Pre Order Products – In Color Inks
Each year I offer a Launch Party that’s open to anyone, current customers or new. Whatever your interest, you’ll see a wide range of products available on display with inspiration. I always like to showcase the in coming New In Colors and this year, I’ve decided to showcase them in this fun way.
Our new In Colors are so vibrant and very much primary like colours. Quite strong in colour, I took an Aqua Painter to Watercolor Paper and did a wash of colour, before die cutting. This offered softer hues of the same colour palette. They really are amazing!
I have used two different sizes of stars to die cut and laid down a circle of bakers twine with silver thread beneath. Some stars are adhered using dimensional and some flat for added depth.
I love colour and life really is amazing in colour, which was why I chose quite simply this sentiment. I toyed with putting the dates of these colours, but the play on words seemed more fitting somehow.
This style of wall hanging would look fabulous with many other die cut shapes and colours, but for now, I love the stars in the new colours.

In Color Ink Pads aren’t usually available until the launch of the catalogue, but this year, along with three other amazing product bundles, Stampin’ Up! are offering you the chance to get your hands on these ink pads early for just £31.50 (Product Code: 147153).
