This month at the Stamp ‘n Hop blog hop, we are sharing our Annual Catalogue Favourite. With so many fabulous Stamp Sets, it’s always hard to define your most favourite of all. Merge two and see what you could create.
You may have already enjoyed the inspiration of the lovely Laura Mackie, well, I’m hoping to inspire you further with what I have to share.
With the publication of the Stampin’ Up! Retirement List this week, we are all mourning for what favourites will be departing and excited for what will be staying. Watercolor Wings and Colourful Seasons bring both the sadness and the happy all in one for me.
Watercolor Wings will indeed sadly be departing. A beautiful stamp set that offers multi layer stamping with such delicate detail of a Butterfly. It’s been a favourite of many of my customers over the time we have had it.
Watercolor Wings would make a fabulous stamp set to use with the Stamparatus Stamp Image positioning tool. It totally lends itself for this style of image stamping and would offer perfect lining up, every time. The Stamparatus will be available to purchase from my online store from 1st June when our new Annual Catalogue launches.
Another Annual Catalogue Favourite is Colourful Seasons which is thankfully staying. These delicate flowers are just stunning and create the perfect tranquil card.
Add a vellum die cut butterfly layer to the top of the butterfly and it helps to soften the colours beneath. It also helps to give a delicate dimension to the card, along with the flowers.
I love to use up scraps and these flowers were made from strips of off cut cardstock, so no waste. This design could be used for many an occasion and it’s always helpful to have a stack of sentiment free cards to hand.
Well I hope you’ve liked what I’ve shared with you today and that you’ll ensure you check out my online Shop to see if your favourites are still there. I hope you’ll now hop on over to the wonderful Karen Pearmain to see what inspiration she has to share with us today.
Happy hopping and thanks for visiting today.
