It’s a Magical Day for a Unicorn, with a tail made from the Ribbons I received for FREE during Sale-a-Bration.
Sale-a-Bration has been a great Promotion this year and there have been some wonderful FREE Products on offer. This week is our last chance to take advantage of the FREEbies and the fabulous starter kit offer. Don’t miss out or you’ll be kicking yourself.
I’ve taken two of the ribbons from a set of three that are FREE with a qualifying order of £45 and frayed the ribbon to create this fun Unicorn tail.
How to make the Unicorn Tail
Simply cut straight across the end of the ribbon with a very sharp pair of scissors. When totally horizontal, pull at the fine silver thread that binds the ribbon threads together. Keep hold of the ribbon tightly between your fingers as you do this. You may want to tie a knot at the top end when you’re done, depending upon how you are making use of it from here.
This Unicorn comes from the Magical Day Stamp set, one that I’ve not had a chance to really have a play with. It’s a great set that at first you only see children’s cards, but for me, I see way more than children’s cards.
Just look at this adorable paper from the Myths & Magic Specialty Designer Series Paper Pack. It offers glimmer and texture all in one. You can colour the Unicorn in many ways, but I chose to use the Stampin’ Blends. If you put just a touch of Smoky Slate Grey Pen to the Unicorns back and blend using the Colour Lifter, you get a real hint of colour. The I’m loving the Stampin’ Blends and yes, there’s the Stitched Basic Shape Framelits again. They really are such a staple in my craft room.
Well, I hope you’ve liked what I’ve shared with you today and that your day will be magical.
Don’t forget that for every £10 you spend with me between now and the end of Sale-a-Bration, I will put your name into a FREE PRIZE DRAW. Yes, you could be in to win this fabulous new Stamparatus Tool. Check out more information about this by clicking on the image below.
