Welcome to the Friends of SUBA Blog Hop and to a burst of Easter Inspiration.
Back in February I attended a SUBA Course to help generally with computer based issues that I encounter in the day to day running of my business. What does SUBA stand for? SUBA stands for Simply Unique Business Angels, and Pip Todman and Louise Sims are indeed little Angels to me. Friends and colleagues, these girls help others to better understand the systems that they use and build the confidence to use them more so. Following this course, a group of us who attended, decided to join up to create a blog hop. What had been learnt could be put into practice and for some, it would give an opportunity to launch their new blog.
The wonderful Carrie Bates, was my chaperone to this event, kindly driving us and now I have the pleasure of following her in this hop. I do hope if you’ve not seen her work, you’ll hop back to take a look.
Easter Inspiration
I’ve seen some great collage cards recently out there on the internet. It’s not something I often do myself, but I thought I’d give it a try.
Sat on my desk, I have a shallow dish where I put various offcuts, die cut shapes, scraps of ribbon, Doillies and generally bits I feel I can probably make use of on other projects. This little bunny was sat all alone there, screaming out to be seen, so I set to work, revolving the card around him.
Some Wood Textured Designer Series Paper, a square of Whole lot of Lovely DSP and the various scraps on my desk and I had myself this collage.
To create this style of background, stamp your chosen image or sentiment using Versamark to give a watermark effect. The Pink ribbon was chosen to tie in nicely with his cute little button nose and ears and the Dollie was left over from a Rainbow card I recently made.
Something a little different for me, but I had a really lovely time creating this for you today. Now take a hop on over to Northern Ireland, where the lovely Gina Connor will be sharing her Easter Inspiration with you.
Enjoy the rest of the hop, your weekend and your up coming Easter break.

If you look back, I seldom use Designer Series Paper, so to actually use some and just make a collage up, isn’t normally my style, but I really enjoyed creating this and I’m pleased you like it too x
