I joined during Sale-a-Bration back in 2012 and was hesitant to join. I didn’t want to lose the friendships and socialising that I had built up, by attending the classes that I did of my uplines.
Well, yes, I may sadly not see the lovely ladies with whom I used to craft with back then, but I have grown my own circle of friends, hold regular classes in the Huntingdon area of Cambridgeshire, UK and absolutely love what I do.
I have had rewarding jobs in the past and deem myself as very lucky, but boy, this job has enabled me to not only be at home and work around school hours and term times, but also build friendships with the ladies who attend my classes, ladies who trust in me and my ability to come up with a class that they find enjoyable, even without them seeing what I have planned. I feel honoured that they put their trust in me and delighted that they have chosen me to share their crafting time with. I have a loyal customer base, whom I do see as friends … we’ve shared laughter, sometimes tears, I’ve watched some get married, have babies and even attended a Christening of one of my friends and customers. This job is far more rewarding than ever I could have imagined. I have forged some wonderful friendships, or which I am truly grateful.
Stampin’ Up! has a wonderful Mission Statement. Our Statement of the heart speaks volumes and I totally believe in it.
I do love what I do and share what I love and I do believe I make a difference in people’s lives … be it that I give them time out from daily stressful lives or enable them to feel part of a happy team to build and grow a business of their own.
Any time is a good time to join Stampin’ Up! but there is an amazing joining offer on right now that you really don’t want to miss. Pay just £99 and receive a starter kit of not only £130 worth of products, but two additional stamp sets FREE of charge and all delivered directly to your door.

You too could be a part of this fabulous crafting community, a community that has helped enable me to take a week long cruise around the Mediterranean and later this year, a week long cruise around Alaska as part of an Incentive Trip that I earned. I have travelled around Europe to Brussels and Amsterdam to attend annual conventions and met and stay in contact with friends far and wide. I have friends I feel close to, whom I may have never met, in Australia, New Zealand, America, Germany, The Netherlands and France to name but a few places, is just wonderful.
This past year alone has brought about some wonderful achievements for me and I am grateful for my loyal customers and team who have supported me, as in November I was awarded the title of Number 6 in the UK for Top Overall Achiever. I was blown away by this. It was totally unexpected and my team of supportive girls had to shout at me to get me to stand up to accept my award. I had totally missed it. From three ladies gathering around my dining room table to regular monthly craft classes at home in Spaldwick and out at Dunelm Mill, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, my journey has grown. I now host even bigger events, in that I host All Day Events and overnight Retreats both in Huntingdon and in Kettering, Northamptonshire. I’ve come a long way and I’ve enjoyed the journey. I now want to pass my thanks back to those of you who have supported me and been loyal to my journey.
Whilst celebrating 6 years with Stampin’ Up!, I will be announcing a little Prize Draw tomorrow for you, so watch this space. This is my time to celebrate and thank YOU.
… but for now, following a two day run of enjoyable classes, my bed is calling. More celebrations will have to take place tomorrow.
Thank you all for your support and continued following. Don’t forget to pop back tomorrow.
