It’s that time to show our Love and Appreciation to those we value.
Yes, this month at the Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop, we are sharing everything that shows love and appreciation in whatever way we see fitting and this month we are joined by two lovely other Demonstrators, Laura Mackie and Linda Van Well, so we are showing our appreciation of them joining us.
If you’ve hopped on over from the lovely Caroline then I do expect she has already shared plenty of love with you already, so I hope you’re ready for yet more.
This post is going live when I will be hosting my first All Day Stamp-a-Stack of the year. It’s a day open to my customers to attend that’s a full day of crafting a variety of card designs, in multiples, having them leave with a Stack of cards. I always enjoy these days and I like my ladies to come and feel special whilst they are there.
I host them at two different venues, but today’s is being held where I host my Overnight Retreats, Kettering Park Hotel and Spa in Northamptonshire. It’s just 20 mins from my home and a wonderfully relaxing place. I always like to leave a small treat on the table for when the ladies arrive and this little domed treat box is what they will have received today.
This treat box is the perfect size for two Lindor Chocolate Balls or two Forerro Rocher chocolates and slides neatly inside. This fabulous sentiment came from the Stamp Set, Big on Birthdays.
When I host this event at Kettering Park, I always add on an extra project for my ladies and try to find something that is a 3D item, rather than a card for them – just to add variety. The ladies love it and I’m sure appreciate that it’s not another card, but something a little different.
The Petal Passion Designer Series Paper is so bold, I felt it totally lent itself to making a larger item like a bag, so I set to work creating this with a turn over that they’ll colour in using the Stampin’ Blends that they’ll be receiving as part of their Kit Pack. I love these alcohol pens, as you can colour in the White Organza Ribbon with it, to make your project even more coordinated.
Top Tip for creating a different shaped Banner
Once the bag was made, I added a simple gift tag, inking up the wonderful sentiment from Picture Perfect Birthday, using three different colours to give an ombre effect … Pool Party, Bermuda Bay and Island Indigo. I’ve then punched the ends of the sentiment panel using the Pretty Label Punch.
I really hope that with the projects and treats that the ladies will be receiving today, they will feel loved and appreciated. Have you shown your Love and Appreciation of someone recently?
Now do go and show the lovely Emiear a bit of love by hopping on over to see what she is sharing on her Blog with us all today and don’t forget to show your appreciation of us, by leaving us a little comment. We love to hear what you think of what we’ve shared and if you like it.
Thanks for hopping by and enjoy the rest of the inspiration that we all have to share with you.

Its a fabulous pack of paper isn’t it Emma?! … and fabulous that you can colour it in your choice of colour xx
Your projectsare gorgeous Mikaela, and your guests will be just delighted to receive them
Thank you so much Eimear, the ladies certainly did like them. In fact one said that the little domed boxes would be great for a wedding reception she has been asked to make things for x
I love the cute little curved top box, and I bet your ladies did too! the bag is gorgeous and i agree you have to colour all of that paper gently to show how great it can be!! Fab projects!
aww Thank you so much Pip. They certainly did appreciate them and enjoyed making the little big bag. There was a lot of silence and tongues sticking out whilst they were colouring theirs sheets in. Beautiful papers and actually fabulous that it’s monochrome, so that they could add their own choice of colour to them x
These are just gorgeous Mikaela! This paper set is my favourite as well, combines so lovely with the blue! Love your projects!
