We are in a fresh New Year of hopping for the Creation Station Team and this month we are planning to Colour my World.
I’m sure the girls before me in this fabulous hop have not failed to inspire you to colour your world, least of all Sara Nell Langland who sits right before me.
I do love an All Inclusive Kit and the Lots of Happy Card Kit has to probably be my most favourite of all. Not only do I love the contrast of the monochrome with the delicate florals, but also the choice of sentiments and the addition of four exclusive Watercolor pencils that are a fabulous addition to our set of Stampin’ Up! Watercolor pencils.
Offering a variety of sizes and shapes, this gorgeous kit doesn’t fail to deliver. It really is utterly gorgeous with both bold from the stripes to soft and delicate of the vellum leaves.
I decided to step it up with a token gift that was inspired by a swap that I received at our last Stampin’ Up! OnStage event, from Em Howells. I created a little pocket to house a vellum packet of beautiful smelling Lavender, the type that you could sit in a draw to add fragrance. It was an adorable swap that I’ve pulled inspiration from and coupled up with the kit, using the images of lavender to embellish it.
I’ve used the Watercolour Pencils that come with the kit to colour in the images, but you could make use of our Stampin’ Blends to change the colour of the Lavender a little and have them more violet in colour.
Five different shapes and designs, this set is just gorgeous! There are usually a few additional pieces that are left over from a kit, so they are perfect for embellishing other creations and projects.
I love how you can prepare the bases of these cards, then sit and relax with the watercolour pencils and colour away. A real spot of mindfulness, which is much needed in life these days to destress.
I love this last card so much …. This sentiment if fabulous and I am indeed, always here for you. If you need my advice, help with an order or information on joining my team, then be sure to get in contact.
I hope you have enjoyed what I have had to share with you today and that you can see yourself creating with this gorgeous Kit and taking the time for some mindfulness colouring. Make sure you hop on over to the wonderfully talented Dena Rekow next in the Colour my World blog hop to see what fabulous inspiration she has to share with us. Enjoy!
