Welcome to the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop and to our showcasing of Stampin’ Blends.
A warm welcome to the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop where this month we are showcasing the wonderful new Alcohol Pens called Stampin’ Blends by Stampin’ Up!
These fabulous pens offer vibrancy of colour and beautiful blendability. I wanted to show you a couple of useful ways to use them, where you can make use of neutral products to colour and tailor them to coordinate with your project.
I have found myself this week during class, asking my ladies if they are ‘Ready for Christmas’, so this seemed the most fitting of Stamp Sets to make use of for this project.
With Alcohol Pens, you are able to colour things like this gorgeous Whisper White Organza Ribbon and the Basic Pearl embellishments, as shown on the box lid.
Open up and inside the gift box, I created three different designs for the Note Cards and Envelopes and left a pocket for Postage Stamps and a Pen.
My Mother-in-law has a Daschaund herself so I wanted to make this little gift set for her. Isn’t this Daschaund just so cute?! He deserved to play a part on each of the cards. I love how you really can blend dark and light with the tonal Blending Pens. The Bronze Pen was perfect for the colour of the dog.
I’m not sure you can see it, but I’ve added a double scored line to each of these cards to add a touch of texture and detail to the blank space.
Supplies used
A list of supplies used is shown further down. Click on any of the items to purchase yours directly from my online shop.
A gentle touch of Wink of Stella for a little shimmer and the project was complete.
From simply colouring in to changing the colour of something, these Stampin’ Blends really are a fantastic addition to any Craft Room … and if you’re not ready for Christmas, then these would make a fabulous gift idea.
If you’d like to receive these in your Christmas stocking, then forward a link to this page to your loved one and I’d be happy to assist them with an order. Alternatively, I can draw up a Gift Voucher for you to spend on whatever you’d like from our Catalogue, which might include these fabulous pens.
I hope you’ve enjoyed what I’ve shared with you today. Don’t forget to hop on over to the others to see what inspiration they have to share with you. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed and I fell sure you’ll get a real selection.
