Welcome to the Creation Station Blog Hop where this month we are talking about Perfect Packaging or Boxes, Bags and Tags and everything but a card.
If you’ve hopped on over from the highly talented Valerie, then you’ll have already been spoiled with inspiration, well I hope what I share will be of use to you throughout this season of Gift Giving. I took inspiration for these projects from a store gift catalogue that I’d picked up whilst out shopping. It seems that cards with large letters with the O switched for a wreath, is quite on trend this year … but why restrict this just to cards?
The Individual Packaging in more detail
Many times we give a bottle of wine to a neighbour for a Gift and a general Kraft Bag for Bottles are great to turn to and dress up with a fancy tag at short notice.
I love the Large Letter Dies. I’ve die cut each letter twice, once in White and once in Crumb Cake to add a shadow. They are the perfect size for coupling with the mini Wreaths we are currently selling in this year’s Autumn/Winter Seasonal Catalogue.
I adore the strength of colour of this beautiful Cherry Cobbler Ribbon coupled with the green of the Boxwood Wreaths Embellishments, Black and White. Such a lovely pop of colour.
Rather than simply stick a tied bow on the wreath this time, I decided to wrap the ribbon around the box and tie it at the base of the wreath. Open the box and you’ll find the flash of black and yet more detail.
I do so love the monochrome look of the Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper. It makes it so versatile to couple with any colour of project that you are creating.
Well I hope you have enjoyed what I have shared with you today and do hope you will continue the hop and leave us a message or two to let us know what you think of our creations. Next up in the hop is Andrea Tracy Tucker. I’m sure she will continue to delight you with yet more inspiration.
