Today, I believe that Hearts Come Home for a little girls Christening.
Thank you for joining us today for this Alaskan Achievers Monthly Blog Hop. Those of us taking part in this Hop, are not only from all around the globe, but also have all achieved the Alaskan Incentive Trip, a prestigious Incentive Trip that only a limited number of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators have earned.
We’ll hop together once a month right up to the trip and will share with you a wealth of inspiration. Well, with Christmas on the horizon, many of us turn to our Stamp Collection and immediately see Christmas projects. Last week we had the honour of being invited to attend the a beautiful little girls Christening, who’s the daughter of a good friend.
It had been a while since I last made a Christening card, but having recently played with my Hearts Come Home Bundle for a Christmas Project it came to me.
I knew I wanted something very simple, clean and fresh and in no time at all, this pretty little card came together.
The die cut houses from Hometown Greetings, can be used for any occasion and here I decided to snip out and use the church for the focal point of this card. I really couldn’t decide upon a sentiment. I felt that everything I turned to, just seemed too big, the wrong script … until I saw this in our Tabs for Everything set. Coupled with a little tag cut from the Bouquet Bunch Framelits and I was happy …
… but the sentiment wasn’t complete.
… until I turned my hand to a long forgotten set on the shelf, Flourishing Phrases. It seemed a perfectly fitting sentiment for little Eve Elizabeth, who is indeed here to help brighten up the world. A matching gift tag and we just had the gift to wrap.
Hometown Greetings as Hearts Come Home for a little girls Christening.
Just three colours used – Sahara Sand, Whisper White and Powder Pink
I hope you’ve enjoyed my little share with you today and that you’ll look at your dies and stamp sets in a different light now. Do remember to hop on round the other Alaskan Achievers to see what delights they have to share with you. There are some amazingly inspirational Demonstrators world wide.
