A warm Autumnal welcome to the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop, where this month we are showcasing the Painted Harvest Suite.
I take no credit for this cute little hedgehog that I saw Cornelia Janssen, one of our European Demonstrators share recently. I did however have to have a go at recreating him for myself.
Corneila showed us just how sometimes we need to look at an image in an entirely different way, which I loved.
I had been meaning to make one of these little boxes for a while. It only uses just one sheet of A4 Cardstock, but it’s amazing the size of box it creates. You really could put a nice little gift in there … chocolates, a candle or such like. I love the way it opens.
I decided to make a little matching 3″ square note card to go with it. Isn’t he cute?! … and aren’t the coordinating papers just gorgeous too!
Cambridgeshire Based Classes – UK
My classes this week have been based on the Painted Harvest Suite. This was another gift box that we made during my classes these past few days. The very same image, but as the standard Sunflower that we all see it as.
I usually host classes on the first Thursday and Friday of the month here in Spaldwick Village and again on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at Dunelm Mill, Huntingdon. I can honestly say this set was a popular one this week and I’m sure my ladies on Tuesday will enjoy creating with it too. I’ll share the other projects we made using it, over the coming few days.
I hope you’ll take a good look at what other inspiration there is available in todays hop. I think you too will fall in love with this suite.
Happy Crafting
