Last week we were Giving Thanks to Painted Harvest, a gorgeous new Stamp Set from the Autumn/Winter Seasonal Catalogue.
Although the Sunflower is super stunning and ever so striking, I wanted to show my ladies something a little different. We had a play with various green re-inkers and the Babywipe technique. Oh we did have fun and the ladies each made their own little masterpieces as a result.
These were the projects that we set out to create and all turned out differently, dependant upon what colours they chose to use. Such a great technique for leaves and trees.
Two Step Stamping
This gorgeous Sunflower offers the technique of Two Step Stamping, where you stamp one image using one colour and then over stamp with another image, using either the same or a different colour. It helps give the flower even more depth and interest.
The ladies each set up their own ink pad using baby wipes and chose their ink combination to use with their choice of leaves for the sides of the box.
This was a very simple little card with a collage of stamped and punched leaves and lengths of ribbon and sequins. So simple but ever so effective.
This was the card that showed off the Babywipe technique more so than any of the others. Some added Pumpkin Pie for a rustic autumnal hue. All were gorgeous.
I actually can’t believe how much I’ve used this Stamp Set already. I am quite simply giving thanks to Painted Harvest for its ease and versatility.
