Welcome and here at the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop, we’re talking about Tabs for Everything a fantastic Stamp Set that coordinates with a fabulously versatile Tab Punch (now we can all use one of these).
Whether you’re a crafter or you simply like to scrapbook or keep an organised Planner, the Tab Punch is a must have item on your shelves. You can add quick convenient tabs to pretty much anything. Well here today, I decided to create a token gift for a friend who has just recently given birth to a beautiful baby girl.
I remember those first few months of milestone things they do, measurement keeping and such like and I thought I’d make a small booklet for my friend to help her keep some of this information in one place along with a coordinating card.
I adore the ruffle embossing folder that I’ve used on the fronts here. So textured and so elegantly simple, but isn’t that little elephant just so cute?! I couldn’t resist but use him.
Using six envelopes with the adhesive flaps cut off, I created this little keepsake book. It’s designed so that you have a pocket to keep those precious little memories in one place. I’ve chosen to focus on the first 6 months with a photo of baby to be placed at the very front. Each tab is numbered and you can even adhere further photo’s throughout or add journaling to the outside of each page as you go.
Pull the little tabs out and you’ll have a further card where you can add whatever memories you want to keep. Measurements, babies first … the options are endless.
I’ve started month one with some simple stamping and the sentiment Celebrate Love to the front in coordinating colours.
Top Tip
The 3/4″ circle punch creates a circle just the right size to sit neatly in the circular part of the tab, leaving a little boarder. It’s the perfect size.
There I go again … I can’t help myself but use the stitched framelits, they really are so adorable and give beautiful detail with the delicate stitching, which I thought went beautifully with the ruffle embossed background.
I couldn’t decide where to put the sentiment on this card and felt that it needed one to Congratulate the Mother and Father on their wonderful new arrival. It finally came to me to stamp on the base of the tab and sick it backwards behind the square panel. Fitted beautifully.
A row of elephants and a few more stamped lines to look like washi tape and I’m done. a cute little card to coordinate with a wonderful little keepsake folder. I so hope it’s liked.
Take a look at what other inspirational makes the others in the hop can share with you today and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Thanks for Hopping by … Happy Crafting
