The last few weeks saw some outstanding efforts from the ladies in my Team, the Stampin’ STYlettes. Promotions that deserve recognition gifts and one very special one too. I’ve had the Eastern Medallions Framlits for a while and hadn’t really played with them, but thought this the perfect occasion. A card I saw designed by one of the Artisan Design Team members gave me inspiration.
I coupled the Eastern Medallions Framelits with the Sentiment from the Stamp Set Home Life that happened to be on my desk at the time … I knew there was good reason not to clear up too quickly following the previous project. It’s a great size sentiment that sits beautifully across the entire card and Medallion. Using Versa mark and Silver Embossing Powder, I heat embossed. I did the same for the wooden element leaves, so that these too had a silver shimmer to them. You can see this better in the second photo here.
Initially I was going to make this card entirely silver, but I actually rather liked it coupled with Smokey Slate and Tranquil Tide. It made it look really quite regal and somewhat special … which the title of Silver Elite is.
My Team Member Mo Rootes has worked incredibly hard to earn this title Promotion and deserves a special treat … so a new Pandora Charm awaits her, which I hope she’ll like.
I love the flash of silver foil cardstock that you can see around the boarder and behind the middle of the medallion. Lots of smaller flashes of silver, rather than a whole card full of it. It seemed to sit better with me, but I’d love to know what you think.
A massive Congratulations to Mo and her Daisy Stampers on all of their Promotions.
Happy Stampin’ to all
