A warm welcome to this months Stamping Sunday blog hop were we are talking Fabulous Foil and Foil Frenzy.
I thought I’d share with you the the Fabulous Foil Frenzy Papers with their vibrant patterns and colours on Kraft cardstock. I’ve picked out the Soft Sky colour in the hope of it being suitable for a baby boy’s gift box and card.
Ooo I’ve been itching at the bit to use this stamp set and with so many friends currently pregnant, I thought I’d couple it with this Foil Frenzy Kraft cardstock to create this gift box and coordinating card for a gorgeous little boy who has just been welcomed into the world.
I created this box using the Stampin’ Scoreboard which I believe to be a staple tool in the craft room. This box is just big enough to take a cute little baby grow gift wrapped in tissue paper. I wanted the box to look a little more baby like and felt the stripes needed to be toned down a little, so dug out a paper Dollie, which seemed to do the trip.
I adore how the stamped and die cut elephant opens as a Gift Tag. Just perfect for this project.
What scraps of cardstock I had left over from making the box, I used to pull the card and box together.
awww Isn’t he just so cute?!
I couldn’t not show off the back of him, which you can see if you create the gift tag, so decided to stamp on the inside of the card too.
I know … I know what you’re thinking …. CUTE !!!
I was really pleased with how this little set came together. I wanted a cardstock strong enough for a box but was unsure how the Foil Fenzy cardstock would work with the bold colours and designs, but this has come together just nicely for this baby set. Lets just hope that the baby grow fits the bill now.
I hope you’ll continue with the hop and enjoy the rest of the inspiration that everyone has to offer on Foils today.
Have a great weekend.
