Welcome to the Stampin’ Creative Summer Sun Crafty Projects Blog Hop where we’re kicking back, chilling on the beach and sharing some sunny heart warming creations with you. If you’ve just hopped on over from the bright and bubbly Queen Pip then welcome … you will have already received some summery inspiration from her. If you’ve started your summer tour here … then I hope you’ll enjoy what I have to offer and you’ll hop on the open top ride around the others when you’re done.
When the sunshine comes out, so do our sunglasses, so what better stamp set to turn to than Pocketful of Sunshine.
What a totally fun set this is to play around with. The Stampin’ Up! Catalogue can be a great source of inspiration in itself, which was where I started with this little set.
Thinking of 1970’s Denim chic, had me thinking flower power and daisies, which was why I stamped the little row of daisies along the top edge of the cute little pocket. This cute little set is the perfect little treat gift set for a kids playdate.
Emoji’s get used a lot on Social Media and in Text messages and I couldn’t not couple the arc for the Sun with a 2″ circle punched tag and the bright Melon Mambo Sunglasses. The little glint in the eye of a single rhinestone, just adds that final touch. Doesn’t it just make you want to smile?
I’ve made the treat holder a good 1 1/2″ deep to take not only sweets, but a stick of bubbles too (not that you can see them here). You can fit quite a few treats in this little holder, which sits beautifully off on a slant, so no need for handles, but these could be added.
Well, I hope you liked my spin on the catalogue with this fun Summer Sun Crafty Project. Enjoy the rest of the tour … the next stop is with the lovely Louise. Lets see what she has to share.
You’ve just a few days left of the Christmas in July Promotion, where you can join Stampin’ Up! and the wonderful fun that we have here and gain yourself a bumper starter kit, along with a Free Christmas Stamp Set ahead of it’s launch day.
You can read more about it in a recent post of mine HERE. It’s a fabulous time to join with all the new Autumn/Winter Seasonal products being available to Demonstrators. Get in contact if you’d like to discuss it further.
