Many of you will have seen my daily posts this week, of the Birthday card creations that we made at my recent All Day Event. Having seen that this week’s Global Design Project Challenge, I thought I’d give you a break from those shares for the weekend and share something else with you.
With my Mother-in-law’s favourite colour being Yellow and her Mother’s Day card still needing to be made, I decided to rise to this challenge and for the first time, enter into the Global Design Project challenge. Thankfully, not being one to view the internet, I’m safe to share her card with you, ahead of Mothering Sunday here in the UK this weekend.
I hope she’ll like it and I hope you will too.

Totally amazing card Mikaela. I love everything about it! Thanks so much for sharing and joining in with this week's Global Design Project!
WOW Jess … Thank you so much for your lovely comments and for taking the time to leave me such a lovely comment. I really enjoyed this challenge and the chosen colours. They work so well together, even for a Mother's Day card with flowers on. I'm so pleased I decided to take part x
That touch of yellow on these flowers is gorgeous! What a great card! Thanks so much for playing along with this week's color challenge at the Global Design Project!
These flowers look fantastic with just a touch of yellow. I never use letters and text like this – I love how it looks and how you can achieve any greeting with an alphabet set! (I am just catching up on all of the posts from the challenge last week). Thank-you for playing along with the Global Design Project!!
Thank you so much Brian. I really enjoyed taking part in this particular challenge, as yellow isn't one of my favourite colours, so it made me step out of my comfort zone. Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and leave me such a lovely message. I'm pleased you liked my share x
Thank you Krista, I really do appreciate you taking the time to leave me such a lovely comment. I seldom use my alphabet set, but a Christmas Card I received from our son gave me the inspiration for this one. I really enjoyed taking part in this challenge x
