Welcome to this month’s Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop and being on the build up to the Festive Celebrations, we thought we’d theme this month’s Hop … Festive Frenzy.
You may have just hopped over from the lovely Kim, where you’ll have been spoilt to an undeniable Festive Frenzy, yes, the big fella himself … well, whether you have hopped over from Kim or have joined the hop here, welcome and enjoy the rest of the hop.
We don’t really celebrate the start of a New Year in this house, although this year, we may well be having some dear, close friends round for a quiet meal … which had me thinking …
… create a little table setting for a New Year’s Eve meal.

STUNNING STUNNING STUNNING, Did I say it was Stunning, oh my they sure are
Stunning and elegant as always. Love the idea of the chocolate too although I think you need a spare box so there's one to eat and one to admire lol
Thank you Emily … Yes, I think that's the flaw in my design. I too wouldn't want to spoil it, so how do you get to the chocolate? … Buy another box 😉 xx
I love these, Mikaela! Really elegant and classy. As for hanging those tiny stars of the thread – wow!
Yet again you've stunned us with your elegance hun – the floating stars are divine and the whole set just screams style and grace – I hope that New Year's Eve party is awed by them too – because they are really lovely, and quite frankly anyone who has the patience to attach mini stars to metallic thread has my vote for crafter of the year!!!! Why would you even think of doing that – but I'm soooo glad you did – now off to find magnifying glass & tweezers so I can CASE it – because it's gorgeous!
Oh bless your heart Caroline, Thank you. Sometimes it's just that final little touch that brings the whole thing to life. I'm so pleased that you like it xx
Oh Pip, you have just made me literally laugh out loud!! … Yes, you are talking to me … mad Mikaela, who with the patience of a saint, would sit and punch out Confetti stars to attach to fine metallic thread. Some would call me tight in that I'm using up the scraps of Glimmer Paper … but for me, it just needed that final sprinkle of magic. I really am pleased that you have all taken to the floating stars. Perhaps Stampin' Up! will have to start selling Magnifying Glasses and Tweezers xx
So beautiful, so elegant, full of class like the designer xxx
Oh WOW Eimear, those are very kind words and high praise indeed … but a lot to live up to. Bless your heart xxx
absolutely stunning …. your makes are sure to wow your guests just like us! I love the detail of the floating stars and the filter paper star flowers – going to have to case these for sure! x
awww Thank you Louise, it seems that the floating stars have been hot topic of this project. You really must have a go at casing them. They are so easy to assemble xx
Oh Kim please forgive me, I failed to notice your lovely comment still sat awaiting my approval. Thank you so very much for your super kind words. I am so pleased that you liked them x
