Apologies for being a little quiet of late, but I’ve been busy crafting away for various projects that I have on the go … one of which is creating various festive makes for the Spaldwick Village School Christmas Fair at the beginning of December.
Yes … Santa Claus is coming to town … or at least to our village …
A beautiful idea!!! Thanks for sharing.
Best regards, Heike
Hi Heike, Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. Isn't he fun?! Glad you like him as much as I do, Mikaela x
Adorable! Now I might have to get that mustache die too!
Mikaela,
He is just gorgeous!!!!!
Is it possible to have a tutorial on how to make him please?
I would appreciate this very much.
Christine
these are adorable. I'm always looking for ways to use that mustache and you've done a great job. I'm going to make some of these for my neighbor gifts 🙂
These are all lovely! Which punch did you use for the scalloped decoration on his hat? X
awww thank you all for your kind comments and for stopping by and taking the time to comment.
The trim on his hat is made using the Petite Pennants Builder Punch. You need to punch a small amount of Glimmer Paper from the bottom straight edge, then reinsert it the opposite way around, to add the scallop edge to the opposite side. I will gladly add a photo tutorial this weekend for you all.
I have added him here to a basic Curvy Keepsake Box, but I've also used him on the front of the Fry Box and to front a flat lollipop.
Do pop back in a few days to check out the tutorial x
I would love to see the picture tutorial also. thanks.
Hi Kathi, Click on the "Tips and Tutorials" tab at the top of my blog … you'll find it there. Shout if you need any further help though. Mikaela x
